Selecting the
Right Reel
This list is strictly a guideline. Please limit the
weight of personal items to 75 pounds per person. It is
recommended that you use a military style duffle or soft
bag for your gear. Two smaller bags are better than one
very large one. When deciding what clothing to bring
keep in mind that it is always better to layer your
clothing.
Do not forget any fly
fishing equipment you need, but
pack lightly. Travel rods in 3 to 5 weights are the
best. Be sure to have your rods in a hard case. Good fly
patterns are: Elk Hair Caddis #14, Royal Wulff #14,
Black Wooly Bugger #10, Bead Head Pheasant Tail #16,
Bead head Prince #10, Bead Head Hare's Ear #12. We have
several float tubes in camp, but you may bring your own
if it utilizes a bladder system instead of an inner
tube.
Remember, good rain gear and boots are essential.
